There are three channels of music in three colors (green, blue and red)(or you can not wear the headset at all and just listen to the your fourth choice, the music mix played by the bar under the The Magic Beer Tree);
The person wearing a headset can change their channel and the glowing color on their headset changes also so their friends and others can see which channel and which song they are listening to;
Each person can also control their own volume;
A person can move one or both sides of their headset to have normal level conversations with their friends, others or their bartender;
