“What is the Alice in Appalachia concept Scott West has posted about?
Alice in Appalachia is “Lost Tavern’s metamorphosis from a blue caterpillar to a beautiful glittery purple butterfly,” Scott West told Knox News in a text message. The Lost Tavern on Market Square will transform into Alice in Appalachia. The new West-family business will blend parts of Bernadette’s Crystal Gardens and Earth to Old City. More specifically, the new business will replace the now-closed Lost Tavern and blend parts of the West family’s Earth to Old City gift shop with their Bernadette’s Crystal Gardens bar. All three businesses are on Market Square. Scott said remodeling has been taking place since Jan. 1 and that his sister, Paula West, will run the new “experience” at Alice in Appalachia.”
